Monitor container handling within the customs inspection zone and track the actual time spent on transshipment
Quickly detect OHS incidents, prevent personal vehicles from entering the port or loading/unloading areas, and monitor the wearing of personal protective equipment
Launch the solution on the existing camera network, agnostic of the hardware brand
Enhance site security: use biometrics to identify employees and visitors, and eliminate perimeter blind spots
Client challenge
We integrated the NtechLab platformwith the port's existing video surveillance system. We configured rules by zone (CTZ, LUA, entrances), set up container operation time tracking, and created alerts for security and the operations headquarters.
Panoramic and facade cameras stream video to the platform.
1.
Business rules verify access and operation times: container transshipment, CTZ entry, LUA access, etc. If a violation occurs, the system sends an alert with the address, timestamp, and frame snippet to the security desk and dispatcher.
3.
Logs and reports provide a detailed event chronology for investigation and planning.
4.
The AI recognizes faces and shapes, vehicle plates and attributes, and tracks movement within defined zones.
2.
How it works
How AI solves the challenges
Container delayed in inspection zone
The system flags an excess of the time limit. The dispatcher receives an alert.
Personal vehicle attempts to enter LUA
The AI detects the vehicle type and plate. Security receives an alert.
Attempt at unauthorized entry into restricted zone
The system matches the face against the reference model and tracked movement pattern. The security console receives an alert.
OHS incident (fall, fight, or smoke)
Anomaly analytics engine triggers an alert. Services react faster, reducing the risk of downtime and injury.
Blind spots on perimeter
Tracking data shows zones without coverage. The camera placement and rules are adjusted.
Employee not wearing personal protective equipment
The system sends an alert. The dispatcher takes corrective action.
